We’re Green!! Pioneer west Homes continues the initial guiding principal of the founders to build efficient and well built homes. In 2009, PWH became the first builder in Pueblo County to join the U.S. Green Building Council and begin certifying their homes to the LEED for Homes standard. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts. In continuing with the goal to be the leader in cutting edge technology, Pioneer West Homes has made the commitment to build all of their homes to this standard. |
